Protest of the Trump Card

It hasn’t been a case where slants have ruled the day
Where the word “ideology” is the source of the fray
It hasn’t been the standard of left-versus-right
Where beliefs and standards feed the rampant fight
Risk is up and focus lost in the ruling day
Money talks and tumult walks thru a chaotic foray

The many are the minority; just count them as the few
What matters are the businesses; a for-profit, malicious view
Individualiy is a class unknown
That is, unless you’re the pomposity
Who craves his name-branded homes

Buy applause while you sell yourself to the highest bid
Cast the world assunder like Mein Fuhrer did
A verse of grand assunder, the foil of wrong-vs-right
America is “great” again, in a mired plight
